'Wheels of Fire' is the third studio album by British rock trio Cream, originally released in 1968. Recorded between 1967 and 1968, the album marked a shift from the rapid sessions of 'Disraeli Gears', instead taking shape over many months in short bursts at IBC Studios in London, with production by Felix Pappalardi. Released as a groundbreaking double album, 'Wheels of Fire' pairs studio recordings, including the classic singles 'White Room' and 'Crossroads', with a powerful live disc recorded across six shows at San Francisco's Fillmore Auditorium by Pappalardi and engineer Bill Halverson.
