The Who By Numbers (Deluxe Edition) - The Who [CD]

'The Who by Numbers' is the seventh studio album by The Who, released in October 1975. The album was a commercial success, peaking at number 8 on the US Billboard 200 chart, and number 6 on the UK Albums Chart. The songs on the album were, for the most part, more introspective and personal than other songs that the band had released previously. Pete Townshend has claimed that the band recorded practically every song he had written for 'The Who by Numbers', partially due to the writer's block that he was experiencing at the time. The Deluxe 2CD set pairs the original album newly remastered with a second disc of bonus material from the era, featuring a selection of demos, unreleased tracks, early mixes and live recordings. Presented in deluxe packaging and includes rare photographs and memorabilia from the period.
