Double bill of classic US horror films. In 'The Mummy's Ghost' (1944) Egyptian high priest Yousef Bey (John Carradine) sets out for America to reclaim the bodies of both Princess Ananka (Ramsay Ames) and her guardian mummy Kharis (Lon Chaney Jr.). Not long after arriving, Yousef discovers that Ananka's spirit has been reincarnated in a beautiful young woman of Egyptian descent, whom he determines to kidnap and make his own. However, in so doing he risks the wrath of the vengeful mummy. In the sequel, 'The Mummy's Curse' (1944), after being buried for 25 years the body of ancient Egyptian mummy Kharis is discovered by irrigation workers in Louisiana. Reviving once again, Kharis goes on another murderous rampage in search of the reincarnation of his mistress Princess Ananka (Virginia Christine).
