To celebrate turning 10, Irish NGO The SCOOP Foundation, founded by brothers Andy & Calvin Sweeney, are releasing a very special double disc vinyl compilation featuring all the best bands, DJs and producers they worked with down the years.
The result is the best collection of Irish music in the last 10 years that you probably haven’t heard; some of the bands have even disbanded, making the snapshot of Irish home-grown music even more special.
The compilation features such acts as Le Galaxie, Ships, Zaska, Barq, Why Axis, Contour, Cynema, Carriages, Swords, Cfit and many more!
The album cover was created by local artist DUDA and it is in black and white so kids, young and old, can colour it in with markers, making it an ideal Christmas present for those with young children. This is their chance to collaborate with a world renowned artists, while Mum and Dad get to listen to some seriously good Irish music.
