Prog rock giants Emerson, Lake & Palmer merged in 1970 to consist of brilliant keyboardist Keith Emerson, talented singer / composer and guitarist Greg Lake, and dynamic drummer Cark Palmer. After their founding, they quickly gained international fame and played in the most important and famous venues around the world over the course of their careers. "Out Of This World: Live (1970-1997)" is a cross-career box set that combines the most important and biggest live performances of ELP in an exclusive black slip case with hot foil finishes. Each Deluxe Gatefold Double LP has been given new, beautiful designs. Most of the LPs were previously not available on vinyl and have not been re-released on CD for a long time. In addition to a new foreword by Jerry Eming, editor of Prog Magazine, the box sets contain a 32-page photo book with previously unpublished photographs of the band by Lynn Goldsmith and Neil Preston. In addition, the 10LP and 7CD box sets contain an unpublished live show from Phoenix from 1997. The show appears in the best audio quality and was mastered by the ELP expert and renowned mastering engineer, Andy Pearce.
