DESCRIPTION

Offica, along with his collective A92, have revolutionised rap in Ireland. First gen Nigerian and Ghanian immigrants, they have fused a new style that folds in sharp Irish lyricism with UK Drill street swagger along with Afrobeats melody and dance sensibility, making a sound that has taken them from the streets of Drogheda to global recognition. Crew leader Offica has now prepared Hokage (named after a character from hit anime show Naruto), his debut mixtape Part 1 focusing on his trademark Anime sampling drill sound, along with flashes of cerebral slower tempo rap. With tracks spanning peak time party moments to the introspection of the morning after, this is a complete artistic statement, and the culmulation of 4 years of growth. Includes exclusive CD only track ‘London Town’ featuring A92
