Neil Young & Crazy Horse have announced a new album. It’s called World Record and it arrives November 18 via Reprise. The 11-song LP was produced by Young and Rick Rubin.
Young and Crazy Horse laid down World Record live at Rubin’s Shangri-La studio in Malibu. According to a press release, the new album examines the state of Earth, its uncertain future, and even Young’s relationship with cars (on “Chevrolet”).
Neil Young & Crazy Horse have had a prolific couple of years: In 2019, they issued Colorado, followed by Barn in 2021. They also have recently shared the archival releases Way Down in the Rust Bucket and Toast.
