Description
American pianist Orli Shaham revels in the theatrical richness and invention of Mozart's 'Piano Concertos', joining forces with David Robertson and the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. Concertos 'No. 17 in G Major, K453' and 'No. 24 in C Minor, K491' are emblems of the extraordinary theatricality of Mozart's mature concertos. Each concludes with a movement cast in variation form, the only such examples in Mozart's 'Piano Concertos'.
