'I think I spoke too soon' on 12” Transparent Blue color EcoRecord. Each 140g EcoRecord is made with injection-moulding technology and from approximately nine recycled plastic bottles recovered from post consumer waste. This reduces carbon emissions during manufacture by up to 85% compared with traditional vinyl production.
Laced with dancefloor synth-pop and her signature tender indie sensibility, the record captures the friction between high-sheen glamour and self-doubt. Stepping boldly beyond her critically acclaimed 2024 debut What A Devastating Turn of Events, Chinouriri uses the project to navigate the disorienting haze of her early-to-mid twenties. The result is a profoundly autobiographical body of work that wrestles with sobriety, femininity, and identity while asking: 'If I continue down this path, will I like who I'll become?'
