Former literature professor Harriet 'Harry' Wild has recently retired when she is the victim of a mugging. While reluctantly recovering at the home of her son Charlie (Kevin Ryan), a Dublin police detective, she becomes intrigued by his current case. Together with her mugger-turned-sidekick Fergus Reid (Rohan Nedd), she begins working as a private investigator, much to Charlie's dismay, and the pair are soon solving crimes including murders and kidnappings. In this series, Harry and Fergus investigate when Harry's ex and Charlie's mentor is found dead.
