FYC40 is the very best of Fine Young Cannibals. It’s been 40 years since The Fine Young Cannibals shot out from the UK and took over the world with their mix of soul, pop, post-punk, and new wave. They scored 8 UK Top 40 Hits & 2 U.S. Billboard #1 Singles, Grammy nominations and 2 Brit Awards.
Formed in 1985 by Andy Cox, David Steele (ex-The Beat), and Roland Gift, they broke through with ‘Johnny Come Home’ and a cover of ‘Suspicious Minds.’ Their 1989 album The Raw & the Cooked brought global fame, topping US and UK charts with ‘She Drives Me Crazy’ and ‘Good Thing,’ both Billboard #1 hits. In just a few years, the band achieved commercial success, critical acclaim, and enduring influence, with songs still featured across film, TV, and playlists.
They drove us crazy, like no one else.
