DESCRIPTION

Donna Summer rose to prominence during the disco era of music, earning the title 'The Queen of Disco' and becoming one of the most successful recording artists of the 1970s and all time best-selling female Artists, with her catalogue selling more than 130 million units and billions of streams worldwide. 2026 marks half-a-century since the release of 'Four Seasons of Love', so this is a newly mastered commemorative 50th anniversary edition of that concept studio album, originally released on 11th October 1976. The album became Donna's third consecutive Gold seller in the USA, reaching the Top 30 of the Billboard Hot 200 Albums Chart. 'Four Seasons of Love' features the timeless classics 'Spring Affair' and 'Winter Melody', both of which charted around the world. For the rear cover artwork Donna recreated Marilyn Monroe's iconic scene from 'The Seven Year Itch', with the breeze flowing up from the subway grate towards her white dress.
