Dominique Van Cappellen-Waldock presents her contemplative, ritualistic album 'Fleur de Feu: A Fire Ceremony' out via One Little Independent avant-garde subsidiary Caliban Records, recently launched by punk pioneer Penny Rimbaud of Crass. 'Fleur de Feu' is an intense, spiritual journey of epic proportions that spans a wide breadth of psychoscopic sounds. An array of traditional instrumentation meets cinematic electronics that convey meditative explorations of the divine, while remaining grounded in its core message - one of isolation and despair. In its presentation of expansive soundscapes cut with soaring, celestial vocals, it's an album of not just personal introspection, but universal.
