DESCRIPTION

Released in 1988, 'By All Means Necessary' by Boogie Down Productions marked a pivotal moment in the career of KRS-One, who redefined his artistic identity in the wake of DJ Scott La Rock's tragic death. Embracing the title of 'The Teacher', KRS-One tackles pressing issues within the black community with sharp, insightful lyrics that refuse to conform to societal stereotypes. This album is a powerful blend of confident and clarity, showcasing KRS-One's ability to engage listeners without succumbing to overly sentimental themes. Recognised among The Source's 100 Best Rap Albums.
