All Things Must Pass - Colin Hanks [DVD]

Colin Hanks makes his directorial debut with this documentary that charts the rise and fall of record store giant Tower Records, presided over by the unconventional Russ Solomon. Open for business from 1960, the record store was an instant success and quickly expanded, creating stores globally until in 2006 the company filed for bankruptcy. The documentary examines the causes of the megastore's tragic demise and features interviews from notable music talents and Tower Records fans including Elton John, Bruce Springsteen and former employee Dave Grohl.
