Against All Certainty is the debut spoken word album from President Michael D. Higgins and celebrated ambient artist Myles O’Reilly. An album critics are already calling ‘prodigious poems’ and ‘a milestone in Irish poetry’.
The album features ten awe-inspiring poems, set to a stunning ambient musical
soundscape. Michael D. Higgins has previously published four collections of poetry: The
Betrayal; The Season of Fire; An Arid Season; and New and Selected Poems. This project,
recorded in Áras an Uachtaráin, is his first spoken word album.
