'Zoolook' is the seventh studio album by French electronic musician and composer Jean-Michel Jarre, originally released in November 1984. This re-issue celebrates the 40th anniversary of the first album that ever used sampling, remastered and with a bonus track 'Moon Machine'. 'Zoolook' was ground-breaking in its use of the Fairlight CMI, one of the earliest digital sampling synthesisers, which allowed Jarre to manipulate vocal sounds from 25 different languages. 'Moon Machine' is a dark, experimental electronic piece using synthesizers to create abstract sounds.
