'BONGO FURY' turns 50!? The Zappa & Beefheart collab in May 1975 resulted in new songs, a tour, and album. 'Bongo Fury' is mostly live recordings from Austin, TX and the last to use the name 'Mothers' before it was retired in 1976. The album is the last to feature the band name 'Mothers' before it was retired in 1976. This new 50th Anniversary Edition features all analog mastering of the classic album by Bernie Grundman on 180g black vinyl from the original master tapes.
