The Rolling Stones' fourth UK studio album was originally released in 1966 and marked a milestone in the recording career of the band, as every track on the album was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. The tracks were recorded during two three-day marathon sessions at RCA in Hollywood in December 1965 and March 1966. Among the 'classic' songs are 'Mother's Little Helper', 'Lady Jane', 'Under My Thumb' and 'Out of Time'. Jack Nitzsche and Ian Stewart share the keyboard duties and Brian Jones plays a whole variety of instruments including an Appalachian dulcimer on 'Lady Jane'.
