Not this time, unlike previous encounters Ireland scored a decisive try in the 76th minute to effectively close out the game, Joey Carbery converted to clinch a famous victory for Ireland.
Joe Schmidt’s Ireland squad of 2016 stamped their names in the annals of Irish rugby history as they dispatched New Zealand, 40-29, in Ireland’s first ever victory on their 29th attempt.
