Covid Prevention Policy & FAQ
Golden Discs have been re-acting rapidly to the ever changing landscape we have all found ourselves in recently due to Covid-19. Our stores are shut however our online service continues to dispatch home entertainment to our patrons in the hopes of providing some light relief in this time of crisis.
We strictly adhere to and exceed all government guidelines regarding Covid-19 prevention policies in the workplace and have redesigned our entre workflow and packaging processes to ensure the highest degree of safety for our customers, staff and delivery partners. These practices are under review on a daily basis and are implemented by all staff.

Can I place an order?
Yes, Golden Discs continues to serve customers. You will receive an email with a tracking link once your order leaves our store. When selecting a delivery address, be aware that companies and businesses may be closed and unable to receive parcels.
Are delivery times affected?
As the Coronavirus has spread, we’ve seen an increase in people shopping online. As a result, estimated delivery times for some items may be longer than usual at the moment due to our own fulfilment capabilities and those of our distribution partners at An Post.
Is it possible to return items?
Yes, you can continue to return items. Please use our regular FREEPOST return address and enclose the original shipping documentation and a short note regarding your issue and we will process your return as soon as we receive it. You will receive a confirmation email once this is done.
Is it safe to receive orders?
According to the WHO, “The likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.” You can find the latest information on COVID-19 on the information pages of the World Health Organization and the HSE in Ireland.
Is it possible to reduce contact with the driver when they deliver my order?
Yes. An Post have been advised to reduce contact with customers, this may include placing packages at the customer’s doorstep and stepping back. No signature will be required during the current crisis.
What is Golden Discs doing to keep customers and employees safe?
Since the early days of this situation, we have worked closely with the HSE and health authorities to proactively respond, ensuring we continue to serve customers while taking care of our associates and teams. We have implemented proactive measures at our fulfilment facility in Dublin to protect employees including a redesign of the fulfilment line process, increased cleaning of workspaces, maintaining social distance, and adding distance between drivers and customers when making deliveries.
